The pre-eminently project on the Greenbridge site is The Energy Box, the Flemish demonstrator of new energy technologies developed by cleantech SME’s that are professionally coached in marketing (technology) and entrepreneurship (business). The project fits in with the ViA objectives of the Flemish Government and acts as a ‘Action for starters’ spearhead in the West Flemish economic stimulus plan.
With the construction of The Energy Box and a second incubation wing, the expansion of the science park will receive a new impetus. In 2012 the newly built demonstrator will open its doors with all energy innovations smartly coupled and demonstrated and with 25 new offices for starting energy companies. In short, thé R&D attraction from Flanders in the Ostend energy region.
